What are our Yeovil Surgeries

Our surgeries are designed to help make Family Law advice accessible. They are open to anyone and are free of obligation and cost. Typically our consultations last between twenty and forty minutes and are an opportunity for you to discuss your Family Law issue. In your consultation we will discuss your circumstances, identify a way forward and consider funding including Legal Aid eligibility. It is important to note that we can only discuss Family Law and are unable to provide legal advice during the consultation.

Get the most of your consultation, Legal Aid assessments

We have a Legal Aid contract. Legal Aid is where HM Government fund all or part of your legal advice or provide you with a discount. We can assess if you are eligible for Legal Aid at your consultation. If you would like to be assessed, it is beneficial but not essential for you to bring:

• your last three months bank statements and wage slips (if applicable); and
• your identification and proof of address (i.e. a utility bill or bank statement).
